Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Artist Residence Brighton is known for its charming and detailed decor, giving it a welcoming atmosphere, and many guests appreciate its convenient location near the beach and Regency car park. The rooms often feature stylish touches like roll-top baths and Bramley products, and some even offer balconies with sea views. While most find the breakfast sublime, some have noted inconsistent dinner service, but the cocktails are a hit with many visitors.

underwhelming stay, style over substance

decent locationinexperienced stafflacking maintenance
the location was decent, close to many attractions.
I found the service quite disappointing. The staff seemed inexperienced and disorganized. the room, while stylish, lacked basic maintenance. There were screws sticking out of the floorboards, and it was dimly lit. these issues detracted from the overall experience.

okay locationstreet noiseweak shower pressure
the location was okay I guess it was near some water or something.
the lack of air conditioning made the room unbearable it reminded me of a sauna even with the window open. the noise from the street kept me awake both nights i swear the seagulls were having a party outside my window. also the shower pressure was so weak it took forever to rinse off the soap.

mixed feelings about the stay

acceptable locationtiny roomdark room
the location of the hotel was acceptable.
i stayed in a tiny double room sea view and, honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. the room was small, more like a shoebox, and it felt quite dark. i paid a considerable amount for it so i expected something better.
